Preparing healthy food doesn’t always have to be a time-consuming task. With this air fryer asparagus recipe, you will be able to make healthy and delicious food not only in a timely manner but with very little effort required as well.
Asparagus was actually the first thing I used when I first got my air fryer. I wasn’t sure how it was going to come out, but my kids told me that they loved it.
It was the first time I have ever seen my kids eat all of their vegetables without me or my wife telling them to. Now, whenever I’m cooking, my kids ask if I’m cooking asparagus.
Are Air Fried Vegetables healthy?
If you’re new to the idea of making air-fried vegetables, you may be wondering if they are healthy or not. Not only are air fryers healthier than regular friers, but they are healthy in general.
This is due to the fact that air-fried foods have much lower fat content than deep-fried foods, which makes air fryers an excellent choice for eating healthier.
What Vegetables Are Good to Air Fry
You can’t go wrong with which vegetables you decide to use because a lot of them turn out great. One of the most popular options is potatoes due to the fact that you can make some delicious and healthy french fries.
My personal favorite is broccoli due to the crisp texture that the broccoli gets. For this reason, people like to use cauliflower as well.
Can You Cook Frozen Veggies In An Air Fryer?
Yes! In fact, this is another bonus to using an air fryer because you can put the veggies inside even if they are frozen. No need to let them thaw out or try to warm them up in the microwave. Simply place them inside and let the fryer work its magic.
It is important to note, you need to be cautious with this. You can put frozen vegetables inside an air fryer but sometimes the vegetables can become soggy. Just check on them every now and then and everything should be okay.
If you want to get fancy with it, you can put multiple vegetables inside at the same time. This blends all of the flavors together which makes everything taste extremely delicious.
